Dolores DeNova Kaliske, age 73, of Forked River, NJ passed away on April 14, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ.

Dolores was born on June 26, 1943 in Paterson, NJ to the late Nicholas and Rose DeNova.  She was predeceased by her husband, Bernd Kaliske Sr.

She was a graduate of Eastside High School, Paterson, NJ.  Dolores had several jobs throughout her life, but what she did best was caring for children.  She was a foster parent for decades, caring for well over 100 children over the years, four of which she adopted as her own.  She was voted Foster Parent of the Year in 1996.  She was also a member of St. Pius X Church in Forked River, NJ.  

She is survived by six children and their spouses whom she loved with all her heart and eight grandchildren whom she was so proud of. She leaves behind many friends and a large loving extended family.
