Catherine Donato, age 93, of Forked River, Lacey, died Tuesday December 19, 2017, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Donato was born in Jersey City, living there and Hazlet before moving to Forked River, Lacey six years ago.

She was a Manufacturing Supervisor for Western Electric, Kearny. The most important thing in her life was her family and she especially enjoyed being a grandmother.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband Walter N. Donato on May 15, 1999.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Richard Danielovich of Waretown; her sister Angela Paterno of Lyndhurst, NJ; three grandchildren Sharon Scaldini of Linden, NJ, Richard Danielovich of Scotch Plains and Mark Danielovich of Rosedale Maryland; eight great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren
