Carole L Felten

It is with great sadness that the family of Carole L. Felten announces her passing on Monday, May 7, 2018, at the age of 82.

Carole is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Charles L. Felten, as well as by her mother Victoria, father Harold, and two of her three children, Douglas and David.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Dan and his wife Sarah, her daughter-in-law Kathy, and her five grandchildren Maya, Matthew, Luke, Danielle and Melissa.

She is fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Carole was born and raised in Hackensack, NJ, an only child.  She raised her three sons in Bergenfield and Westwood, prior to retiring with her husband at the Jersey Shore, where she sailed the bays, sounds and open ocean of the northeast coastline as first (best and last!) mate with her husband and captain, Charlie.  She wintered in Delray Beach, Florida, where she leaves behind many beloved friends.  She was an avid genealogist, reader, crafter, and bridge player.

Despite repeated losses of her cherished family and friends, Carole had an extraordinarily positive outlook on life and her faith in God never wavered, even in the most trying of times.  She faced death with courage and dignity, following the light to reunite with her loved ones.
