August V. Aversano, age 73, passed away on November 7, 2017 at Southern Ocean County Medical Center.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY to August Aversano and Angelina (Attardi) Aversano.  August lived in Brooklyn until he moved to Waretown, NJ fifteen years ago. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing and boating out on the Barnegat Bay.  He was a member of the Lacey Township Elks. 

August is predeceased by his parents, August and Angelina Aversano; and his son, August.

Surviving are his wife Carol; his three daughters, Louise Crimeni, April Lombardi and Renee Bolognese; his two sons, James Aversano and David Robinson; his two brothers, Joseph Aversano and Anthony Aversano; and his sister, Maryann Scarimbolo. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
