Ted was born in North Bergen, NJ to Wilma and Joseph and lived his entire life in NJ. He was a member of the US Army and a proud member of the US Constabulary.
Ted was employed by the NJ Turnpike Authority retiring in 1987. In his younger years he also drove tractor-trailers for the Mason Dixon Line.
In 1958 Ted married the love of his life, Penny. They moved to Forked River in 1969 while their “dream” home was being built in Lanoka Harbor, where they raised their children.
Ted and Penny loved and lived for each other until Penny’s passing in 2006, although Ted continued to ALWAYS love her. They enjoyed doing crosswords and jumbles and loved Atlantic City. They also loved vacationing in Las Vegas, always meeting up with their forever friends Harry and Clara.
Ted was a kind, gentle, caring and devoted family man. He was a man of few words but always a presence at the many family events. Ted will forever be missed by those who were lucky enough to have known him.
