Robert (Bob) P. Morris Jr. passed away on April 13th, 2024, at the age of 62, while visiting his son in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Born on September 24, 1961, Bob leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication.
Bob's professional journey was marked by excellence and commitment. He served as a business analyst for a prominent healthcare company, where his insights and expertise were highly valued. Though retired at the time of his passing, Bob's contributions to his field continue to resonate.
A proud graduate of St. Joseph's High School, Class of 1979, Bob went on to pursue higher education at Georgian Court College, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2000. His thirst for knowledge and passion for his chosen field were evident throughout his academic and personal endeavors.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Bob found immense joy in life's simple pleasures. He cherished moments spent with his beloved family, finding solace and happiness in their company. An avid fan of the New York Mets, Bob's enthusiasm for baseball knew no bounds, and he reveled in cheering on his favorite team.
Bob possessed a green thumb and loved tending to his backyard. He cultivated a vibrant garden and outdoor landscape that brought beauty and tranquility to his surroundings. His love for music and sports took him on memorable journeys to music shows, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Baseball Hall of Fame, where he found inspiration and fulfillment.
Bob's enduring spirit and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. His willingness to lend a helping hand and his compassionate nature endeared him to many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those he encountered.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Morris, and his two cherished sons, Jared and Matthew. His three sisters and their spouses, Cheryl and Kenneth Thomas, Mary and Timothy O’Connor, Kathleen and Joseph Angellella, and many nieces and nephews.
In honoring Bob, let us cherish the moments shared, the memories made, and the legacy he leaves behind. May he rest in peace, forever remembered, and deeply missed.
