Thomas F Fancelli

Forked River - Thomas F. (Tom) Fancelli, passed away at Southern Ocean County Hospital on January 11, 2018 following a short but devastating illness with cancer.

Tom was born in North Bergen, NJ, and attended Dickinson High School. He enlisted in the US Army serving for two years in Germany and Austria. While in Austria, he sang with the Vienna Boys Choir.

Tom was a tractor trailer driver retiring from Linden Motor Freight. He is a member of Union Local 478.

Tom had many varied interests, but most loved the beach with Judy and visiting their condo in Naples, FL. They did travel to many other areas including Europe and South America.

He will be remembered for his phenomenal sense of humor and his kind heart. He had something good to say about everyone and could always find a joke no matter the situation.

Tom was an animal lover, in particular his dog Zaina, who accompanied him everywhere.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, Thomas F. and Edna Jacobus Fancelli; two sisters, Dorothy and Joyce Fancelli.

He is survived by a sister Betty and his wife and best friend of 44 years, Judy Cesaroni Fancelli.

A luncheon will follow for family and friends at the Captains Inn, Forked River, NJ at 12:45 PM following burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tom would be appreciated to the St. Jude for Children Hospital Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
