Stu, May you rest in peace.
Prayers and condolences to the Knorr family. When my husband was alive he would always say Hi to Stu and have many a short conversation with him over the fence. It is nice to know good neighbors.

Stu was a neighbor of ours for the past thirty-two years. I remember the first day we moved in, he was there to welcome us to the neighborhood. Over the years, he would always have a kind word or make us laugh. When we lost electricity during Super Storm Sandy, Stu and Sandy were kind enough to invite us to to their home for warmth and a bite to eat. Even though we will miss his physical presence in the neighborhood, we know he is resting with his Father and Maker. God Bless.

The news of Stu's passing is truly shocking and heartbreaking. My brother Ralph passed after a grueling battle with cancer last November. Stu graciously agreed to do the funeral service for Ralph. Although he wasn't feeling well, Stu took the time to meet with my family so that we could tell him all about Ralph and who he was as person. Stu gave the most heartfelt and authentic service, perfectly describing Ralph. My family so appreciated the time Stu put in to write and give the service. Stu was the real deal. He gave my brother the best send off a Christian could ask for. My mom, Ruth, loved Stu and commented that every time she saw him at our church he would give her a big hug and a kind word. She will truly miss seeing him. His sincerity and commitment to Christ shined through. Although saddened that Stu will no longer physically be at Village, I am glad that my last memory of him, as I shook his hand after his last sermon, is of a strong and kind man. Rest in peace Stu.
Isaiah 57:1-2
Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.
