Ronald R. Klebacher passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 24, 2017.

Ron proudly served his country in the United States Navy retiring after 20 yrs of service, achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. During his time in active duty, he served aboard many ships from destroyers to aircraft carriers, and was a veteran of the Korean War.

After the Navy, Ron attended Richard Stockton University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree, and began working for the Department of Labor for New Jersey. He retired as a senior field investigator after 22 yrs.

Ron was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus in Forked River, and then transferred to the Toms River chapter; a long‑term member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the National Rifle Association. He coached his son's soccer teams and was an assistant scoutmaster for many years for the Boy Scouts of America. Ron loved fishing on the Barnegat Bay, as well as hunting.

Ron will always be remembered for his love of his country and his family, as well as close family friends. He loved his trips to New England and his ongoing search for the next best chowder. Ron will always be remembered when MASH comes on TV and will be sorely missed at family outings,dinners and vacations.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Honora M. Klebacher; his son Dr. Ronald J. Kiebacher and wife Angie of Forked River; daughter Honora R. Klebacher of Forked River; his son Michael J. Klebacher of Manahawkin; three grandsons, Grayson and Benjamin of Forked River and David of Washington. He is also survived by his brother Fred, sisters Patricia and Carol and several nieces and nephews.
