Kenneth A Oshin

Kenneth Oshin of Forked River, NJ passed away on April 3rd 2018 at the age of 75.  In his last days he was surrounded by his family and friends in an outpouring of love and support.  Born in Charlotte, NC on September 30th 1942 to Bernard and Tillie Oshin, Ken moved to Newark, NJ as a small child where he grew up.  Ken graduated West Side High School in Newark, NJ in 1961 and went on to work at Kings Supermarket where he worked through the ranks to become a store manager. Ken continued his career working at several insurance companies and ultimately opened a branch of Principal Financial Group which won an award for growing the agency into one of the largest in the Northeast. Ken lived for his family and friends and touched the hearts of all those he met. Ken was a devoted, kind and loving husband to his wife Rona for over 55 years.  Ken also took a deep interest in his children and grandchildren and was ever-present in their lives. Ken will be forever remembered by his loving wife, Rona and their two children: Wayne and his wife Antonia; Dara and her husband John; his brother Richard and his wife Coletta; his sister in law Michelle and her husband Bill; his brother-in-law Michael and his wife Leslie.  Ken will also be held in the hearts of his grandchildren Alex, Rachel, Eli, Sam and Kai, his nieces: Heather; Holly and her husband Michael; Rebecca and her husband Michael and children Olivia and Nate; nephew Michael and his daughter Tatyana; his dear friends Sue and Kathy and all his extended family and many friends.
