Jennie Moran

Jennie (Harzula) Moran, age 95, of Waretown, NJ, formerly of Iselin, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Southern Ocean Medical Center.  Jennie was born on October 29, 1922 in Union, NJ.  She was educated in Union and lived there with her mother, brothers and sister until she met and married Lawrence D. Moran (of Kearny) on November 5, 1945.  They moved to Iselin in 1952 and lived there for 31 years. Jennie was a regular member of St. Cecelia’s Roman Catholic Church during her time in Iselin. In 1983 Jennie and Larry retired to Skipper’s Cove in Waretown, where she became a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Barnegat. Jennie was a wonderful homemaker.

Jennie was very happily married to her loving and devoted husband Larry, for just short of 50 years before he passed away in 1995. She is also predeceased by her mother, Anna; her sister, Ann; and her two brothers, Bill and Tim.

She was the loving mother of James, of Waretown, NJ (deceased 2009); Robert of Dallas, TX; Larry of Howell, NJ; and Patrick of Barnegat, NJ.  She is also survived by her wonderful daughters-in-law, Suzanne of Dallas, TX; Debbie of Howell, NJ; and Cindy of Barnegat, NJ. Jennine was the loving grandmother of Jason, Crystal, and Amanda; and the great-grandmother of Connor James Moran.
