Barbara Marilyn Battaglia formerly of Forked River who resided in Greenbriar Oceanaire section of Waretown and Naples Florida, passed away on Sunday October 8, 2017. Barbara touched so many people with her positive, outgoing, bubbly personality and for her enthusiastic outlook on life. Barbara enjoyed raising her loving family and then worked for 20 years for the Lacey Township School System in the transportation and grounds department. Amongst her many interests, she enjoyed interior decorating, traveling, Atlantic City, playing Bocci and going out to dinner and having a glass of wine. But the greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

            Surviving is her husband Frank whom she recently celebrated their 56th anniversary; her daughter Debra Lima and son-in-law Michael who reside in Forked River with her granddaughters Marissa and Morgan and their daughter Francine Price and her husband who reside in Toms River.
